Dubai Miracle Garden

Ever since my mum and sister went to visit my older sister in Dubai and showed me pictures of the miracle garden, I just knew I had to go there when I visit.
In April this year I went to visit my sister in Dubai with my other sister who had already been there. The very first place I wanted to see besides art exhibitions was the miracle garden. So on a very hot sunny day when the temperature was probably 35 degrees Celsius my sister and I decided to go see the gardens which thinking now might have not been a good idea.
So we got into a local taxi and off we went, thinking about this now I don’t think either one of us had the right type of clothing on for such a hot day.  And let me tell you it was hot but we carried on, to get into the gardens you have buy a ticket which is fairly cheap although it was for me as of my wheelchair. As soon as we got in I could smell the freshness of the flowers and plants. All which were so bright and colourful to look at.

The garden was so large that it was not possible to see everything on such a hot day but what I did see was so beautiful and creative. Amazing abstract sculptures that were made in a way to highlight the beauty of the brightly coloured flowers. As stunning as the garden was it also gave the impression of being grand than life with touches of wackiness  and creativity. These claver touches in my option made the garden very special and stood out in comparison to others around the world. After all it was Dubai which is all about being lavish and different which is not a bad thing as I think this is Dubai’s  standing point.

The good thing about the Miracle Gardens is that on a hot sunny day there was plenty of ice cream trucks to eat from and sit under the umbrella area cooling off. And that’s exactly what I did, had a mango and raspberry sorbet which was the perfect accompaniment to a scorching hot day and a lovely day out with my sister.

I love sharing my trips every now again by doing these travel photo diaries so I hope you like seeing my snaps.
